The Launch Party

Published by admin under LWS

Thursday night’s Luxury Wedding Society Launch Party was the place to be for the Who’s Who of Dallas weddings.  Held in the ultra luxe Hotel ZaZa Uptown Ballroom, guests were greeted on the red carpet by a gentleman complete with tux and tails.

After registering, female guests were given the chance for a little makeup touch-up courtesy of Stanley Korshak. This gave guest Bernadette a little extra spring in her step for the evening’s festivities.

This was perfect timing just before climbing into the on-site custom photo booth set up by Carpe Vita Photography incorporating one of Hotel ZaZa’s famous opium beds as the perfect backdrop.  To see more of the fun had in this photo booth, go to the PHOTOS page - you can download the photos by right clicking on any of the images.

As you walked into the ballroom, you were greeted by the intoxicating aromas of the Hotel ZaZa’s yummy menu created specifically for the evening.

To give you an idea of some of the mouth-watering examples, the following hors d’ oeuvres were passed - Mini Lobster Rolls, Lollipop Lamb Chops (hands down favorite), Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Tomato Basil Soup, and Little Demon Cakes with Orange Remoulade to name just a few.

There were action stations showcasing Spinach Salad tossed to order and Pad Thai which was definitely a popular location to be.

To the right was a sparkling Jewelry Bar set up courtesy of William Noble Rare Jewels and boy, did they shine!

I have to show off this amazing floral creation by Freesia because the above photo didn’t do it justice.  Isn’t it stunning…  It just screams Spring!

Located between the William Noble Jewelry Bars, were the sweetest of sweets - cupcakes, petits  fours and wedding cookies from Society Bakery. Definitely the icing on the cake after indulging in all the candy around the room.

Continuing around the room were two elegant table displays furnished and dripping with beauty by RSVP Soiree and florals by Freesia.  Both a long banquet table and a large round table were used to showcase just how accommodating and inviting the Hotel ZaZa Uptown Ballroom can be for any wedding reception or event.

Around to the other side of the ballroom, Stanley Korshak had another beauty table reminding guests of their salon services and they showcased some of their fun and fantastic Bridal Registry items.  The fab lucite table and chairs that the SK items are displayed on are some of the cool furniture rental items available thru Suite 206.

Lite Dallas was responsible for the awesome room and accent lighting including the custom LWS gobo created for the evening.  The logo looks great against the Hotel ZaZa black dance floor - another quality detail that makes them so special.  Andy Austin spun the tunes for the evening and entertained the ladies.  One thing to note about the Lite Dallas DJ Booths - they come in almost any color combination you can imagine - perfect for complimenting wedding colors.  We thought the all black was HOT!

One of Suite 206’s newest rental services are the gambling tables complete with dealers.  We heard several brides discussing what a smart idea for a different reception service that would help set their wedding apart from the rest.

Here are some more of the cool items available for rent thru Suite 206. Personally, I would love for them to just furnish our home.

Here is one of the stunning gowns The Bridal Salon at Stanley Korshak had on display in the middle of the room near one of Suite 206’s casual sitting arrangements.

Throughout the evening, models circulated wearing a variety of men’s formal attire available at Stanley Korshak and bridal gowns from their Bridal Salon.  As guests began to arrive, it was difficult to get photos of the models as the room was packed.

Celebration after a successful evening.  Members of the Luxury Wedding Society include (back row) Andy Austin of Lite Dallas, Steve Cooley of Carpe Vita Photography, Melanie Campbell of Hotel ZaZa, Elaine Raffles of Stanley Korshak, Laura McClung of William Noble Rare Jewels, (lower group) Meagan Hayes of RSVP Soiree, Angela Dennison of Hotel ZaZa, Kim Cooley of Carpe Vita Photography, Roshi Munns of Society Bakery, Shannon and Peter Ullrich of Freesia.  The only person missing is Josh Madden of Suite 206 but their furniture is represented in the photo.
